Can you use your HP smart jet printer without the CD?
I need to scan some pictures and my sister misplaced the installation CD,and its never been installed on this particular computer.
Is there any way I can still use it?
Its kind of urgent if you could answer quickly

Well connect the HP to the pc while your connected to the web so your OS will search the web for the drivers.
I had my Samsung printer installed like that as well. I never recieved the installation cd from my vendor.
Edit:
You should still be able to load the drivers from the web. Its does it on its own. Or, while the hp is connected to the comp and your connected to the web, use wizard under control panals "install/uninstal" to install this scanner/printer.
