What type of band saw blade (and how many teeth/inch) for cutting composites ?
Will be cutting through carbon fiber and/or fiberglass with an epoxy/acrylic matrix.
The cross sectional area of the cut would be up to 7 square inches, so any ideas on the necessary power of the band saw?
Wet saws with diamond tile cutting blades work wonders on composites. No heat and no dust.
They will last you a lifetime (if you don't break it), but expect to pay well over $100.
