Why is my card for wireless Internet data from "local and Internet" to "local only" a lot?
I hate when he goes to "local only" because I can not surf a lot of time. Is there anyway to solve this problem? I use Huawei EC168 a data card on an Acer Aspire desktop computer that has Windows Vista. I do not use a router. The data card is connected to the computer via a USB cord. I also have two antennas hooked to the Internet via the RF port card.
By showing only local it indicates that your computer can still see the router and your LAN. This indicates that the fault lies between the router and servers. Check all cables between your router and the phone jack. You can also replace the broadband filter, they are very cheap and could be defective. If none of this works then contact your provider service is not done on their end.
