hi i want to melt some bottles in a kiln, not so that they become molten just slump what temp?
i want the bottles to change shape and slump but not melt to liquid, what temp would be the maximum before the glass would become molten? in a kiln
Much easier with a gas blow torch - you will be in control all the time and you can use pieces of wood to make the forms and shapes you want. Make sure there are no corks or tops on them...
