cherry bomb turbo muffler or flowtech red hot glass pack muffler?
2004 grand prix gtp. Lound but not to loud. dont know if i want a glass pack or just the turbo muffler. what is the difference?
tons of difference. the cherry bomb turbo is a higher flowing baffled muffler, the inner workings bounce the exhaust flow in a kind of sig zag pattern of sorts quiting the sound. the glass pack is a pipe within a pipe. between the pipes is fiberglass sound dampener and small cheese grater type wedges. as the exhaust passes over the wedges sound is defused by the packing inside. this method at 1st is fairly quite till the packing burns in and sound will increase drastically.
