How do you lower the cutting blade on a "old fashioned" man power push mower?
I was given a craftsman quiet cut "old fashioned" man power push mower. Our neighbor also has one but a different brand and theirs cuts low to the ground when i tried out mine you couldn't even tell i had mowed. How can I lower the blade close to the ground?
Generally the mowers have 2 or 3 holes by the wheels that you can take the wheels off and put in a higher hole..that will lower the whole body of the mower..some also have little spring loaded tabs by the wheels instead of bolt holes that you pull out and set in the next slot by them to make them lower
