Colors Stained

How do I get a more red color on my already stained cabinets without resurfacing them?

I have these brown mildly mucked up cabinets that would take way to long to totally re-stain, but the stain color is not that great and nearly impossible to match. Any ideas would be cool, thanks

Minwax has a product called Polyshades.

I have used it successfully to re-finish and refresh trim, doors, and windows around my house. Youhave to use a good quality (relatively stiff) natural bristle brush, and I would recommend planning to top-coat with a clear varnish as the Polyshades finish tends to be very uneven as far as sheen goes. You also have to work pretty quickly with it as it gets tacky fast (though it is slow to dry and cure).

Another option would be a gel stain and subsequent coats of varnish. Any good home store will have both available. Shop around though. By me Home Depot had Polyshades for about $15 a qt and it was only $10 at Menards.
